This recessed mounted contact sensor is a hardwired security solution designed to provide discreet and reliable protection for commercial spaces. It offers a clean install with a hidden profile that won't disrupt your interior decor while preventing sensor tampering. The door side magnetic contact fits the hollow, recessed inverted-U pocket at the top or bottom of a commercial hollow metal steel door. The door channel component acts as a special housing or mounting bracket that allows you to clip or press-fit the magnet securely into this deep recess without drilling a new hole into the door itself.

This sensor operates on a Normally Open (N/O) reed switch configuration for a standard closed-loop security system, meaning the circuit remains closed when the door is shut, triggering an alarm instantly if the connection is broken.
